Familia Torres laid the groundwork for dealcoholised wine in Spain back in 2004, launching their Natureo range in 2008 as the country's first 0.0% wine. The Catalan winery, founded in 1870 and still family-owned, brought serious winemaking credentials to a category that barely existed at the time.

The Natureo range now spans red, white, rosé, and sparkling options. Torres uses spinning cone technology to remove alcohol while preserving the aromatic compounds that make wine taste like wine. The Muscat and Garnacha Syrah have become benchmarks for the category, showing that dealcoholised wine can deliver genuine varietal character.

Torres approaches AF wine with the same attention they give their full-strength bottles. The grapes come from their own vineyards in Penedès, production methods are carefully controlled, and the quality shows in the glass. This isn't an afterthought product bolted onto their portfolio.

The winery had been refining Natureo for years before most wine producers had even considered the category, and that head start shows. Medals at AF wine competitions have followed, but the more telling detail is that wine writers tend to reach for Natureo when benchmarking what dealcoholised wine can actually be.

You'll find Natureo at Ocado, Waitrose, and specialist wine retailers across the UK, with international distribution through various regional partners.
