About This Drink

Pours a pale, clear pink. The nose has dry red berry notes: redcurrant and cranberry with a light touch of cherry. On the palate it's slightly sweet with a soft, smooth texture; the acidity is fairly low, which gives it a muted rather than crisp character. The finish is short with a faint saline quality. It's a straightforward, accessible dealcoholised rosé. The brief skin maceration before fermentation extracts colour and some aromatic compounds from the grape skins, which gives the nose a drier, more vinous quality than you'd get from white wine base wines. Torres uses low-temperature vacuum distillation to remove the alcohol without stripping out the fruit.
