About This Drink
Triple Zero Tostada carries the same three credentials as the rest of Ambar's zero range: no alcohol, no sugar, carbon-neutral production. The difference is the malt bill. Where the standard Triple Zero is pale and straightforward, the Tostada uses roasted malts to push into darker territory, taking a cue from the Spanish tostada style. It pours a dark gold to amber with a creamy off-white head. Toasted grain, warm caramel, and a biscuity note come through on the nose. On the palate, roasted malt sits front and centre with gentle caramel sweetness running alongside. The bitterness is rounded rather than sharp, and the finish is dry and smooth with a trace of toasted cereal. The absence of sugar is an asset here: the roasted character has room to breathe without the sweetness tipping it into heavy territory.
