Wingman AF is the lightest member of the BrewDog AF range. Peach and pineapple flavourings sit alongside lactose for a sweeter, less hop-forward profile than the rest of the lineup. It is designed to be easy rather than complex. The pour is pale yellow with a light head that fades quickly. On the nose, there is a faint tropical fruit note, peach mostly, with citrus in the background. Understated compared to something like Ghost Walker or Elvis AF. On the palate, soft peach and tropical fruit come through more clearly, with gentle hop bitterness and smooth carbonation. The grain base is thin but that is not a surprise at 0.5%. The finish is clean with nothing lingering. Contains lactose, so not vegan. Good for drinkers who want something cold and light rather than hop-forward.
