About This Drink
Weird Weather is Mikkeller's non-alcoholic hazy IPA, sitting at 0.3% and built with a grain bill that includes rye malt and oat flakes alongside the base barley. That extra complexity in the grain gives it more body and a creamier texture than most alcohol-free beers at this strength manage. It pours hazy straw with a decent white head. The hop character leans toward pine and fresh grass rather than the tropical fruit that's become the default for this style, with lemon underneath providing citrus without sweetness. The mouthfeel is notably smooth, almost creamy, with lower carbonation than average. A cereal dryness from the rye and oat comes through on the swallow. The bitterness builds as you get further through the can. Drink it while it's still cold enough to keep the hop aromas fresh.
