Peach Fuzz pours hazy pale gold with a soft white head. The peach character is upfront on the nose - fresh and ripe rather than synthetic - with light biscuit malt sitting underneath and a faint citrus hop note. The palate follows the same pattern: juicy peach sweetness with gentle hop bitterness keeping it from going cloying, and a soft grain base running through the middle. It's light-bodied and easy to drink, the fruit staying forward without becoming a flavoured-water situation. The finish is crisp and short. For a fruit pale ale this is fairly well balanced - the peach is the point, but there's enough going on underneath to make it feel like a beer. Vegan and gluten-free.
