About This Drink
Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic together is a well-trodden hop combination in craft brewing, but it's popular for good reason. Each brings something distinct: Citra for bright citrus and tropical fruit, Simcoe for pine and earthy depth, Mosaic for blueberry and mango. Double dry hopping concentrates all of it. The pour is hazy golden with a soft white head. Mango and peach open the nose, backed by pine resin and a light biscuit malt note. On the palate, tropical fruit leads, joined by citrus zest and a rounded bitterness that builds steadily without tipping into harsh territory. The malt body is smooth and restrained, keeping the hops centre stage. The finish is dry and crisp with lingering citrus peel. Among Brulo's IPA lineup this is the most accessible, a good entry point into the range.
