Upside Dawn is the most approachable pour in Athletic's core range. Brewed with premium Vienna malt from both the US and Germany, and a blend of English and American hops, it sits between a light lager and a pale ale in character. Gluten removed to below 20 PPM; Silver Medal winner at the New York International Beer Competition. Pale golden in the glass with a light, persistent head. The aroma is subtle and clean: floral hops, a gentle cereal note, a hint of lemon zest, and just a trace of honey from the malt. On the palate it's soft and balanced, with peach and citrus fruit over a pale malt base. The bitterness is light and smooth rather than assertive. The finish is clean and slightly sweet, with a gentle hop dryness at the tail. Vegan.
