Most alcohol-free lagers are made by stripping the alcohol out after the fact. Days takes a different approach: cold contact fermentation keeps temperatures low enough that very little alcohol forms during brewing. The result is a lager with a noticeably fuller body than you'd expect, more creamy than fizzy, with floral and honey notes alongside citrus and a faint passionfruit sweetness. It's not a crisp, highly carbonated lager in the traditional sense; the mouthfeel is rounder and the fizz more restrained. It suits drinkers who find most AF lagers watery. The Lammermuir Hills water and Hallertau hops give it decent provenance, and at 73 calories it's one of the leaner options in the category.
