Lervig's No Worries Original is the flagship of the range, a 0.5% pale ale that gets its low ABV from the yeast rather than from stripping. The brewery uses a strain that won't ferment maltose sugars, so the alcohol simply doesn't get produced in the first place. That distinction matters in practice: the beer retains more of its natural character than a dealcoholised version would. It pours hazy apricot-gold under a generous white head that holds reasonably well. The aroma leads with tropical hops - passion fruit, grapefruit peel and a thread of pineapple - with the malt staying quietly in the background. On the palate, grapefruit takes the lead, with mango building as the beer warms. Bitterness climbs steadily toward a dry, clean finish. Soft carbonation and a medium body give it genuine texture for a beer at this strength. It's one of the better 0.5% pale ales from a European craft brewery.
