The double-brewing process is what sets 0.0 apart on paper. Heineken brew it once, remove the alcohol under vacuum (which keeps temperatures low enough to preserve the flavour compounds), then brew again to refine the result. In practice, you get something that tastes more like lager than many AF alternatives: grainy malt upfront, a light citrus note mid-palate, a touch of herbal bitterness, and a clean, reasonably crisp finish. The body is medium-light and the carbonation is moderate, which keeps it from feeling thin or flat. It's not going to fool anyone who's paying close attention, but it's a competent 0.0% lager and one of the most widely available in the UK. You'll find it in most supermarkets, plenty of pubs, and anywhere that stocks alcohol-free options at all.
