White Peach & Strawberry uses real organic peach and strawberry alongside hibiscus, honeybush and rosehip. The botanicals serve two purposes: they deepen the pink colour and add a subtle floral, slightly tart note that stops the fruit from becoming one-dimensional. White peach is gentler and more delicate than yellow peach, and it suits the lighter acidity of kombucha well. Poured, it is pale pink. The aroma is peach and strawberry, with a soft floral quality from the hibiscus. On the palate the fruit is present without being sweet in the soft-drink sense: the fermentation keeps things taut. The finish is clean and gently fruity. At 19 calories per 100ml it is consistent with the rest of the range. One of the more approachable options for anyone put off by the astringency of some kombuchas.
