Raspberry and elderflower is a soft pairing at the best of times, and the kombucha acidity here keeps it from becoming cloying. The raspberry comes through cleanly on the nose and the elderflower adds a floral note in the background rather than dominating. On the palate the fruit is present but not jammy. The fermentation tang sits underneath and balances out the sweetness. The fizz is light. It finishes cleanly with the fruit fading quickly rather than lingering. One of the more approachable options in the Equinox range for people who find straight kombucha too acidic. Brewed in West Yorkshire with organic ingredients and raw cane sugar.
