Sicilian Lemon is brewed from the same organic Chun-Mee green tea base as the whole range, then blended with juice from sun-ripened Sicilian lemons. Organic lemon peel and natural lemon flavour round out the citrus character without tipping into the sharp synthetic quality of some lemon-flavoured drinks. On the palate it is light and clean: bright lemon zest up front, mild kombucha sourness in the mid-palate, and a dry finish that fades quickly. The carbonation is gentle. It sits somewhere between a lemonade and a live-culture fermented tea, satisfying both without fully committing to either. Serve straight from the fridge, over ice if you like. Works well alongside a meal where something sharp is wanted without the sweetness of cordial.
