Red grape must concentrate makes up 15.4% of this recipe, which is enough to produce real grape depth alongside tartaric acid for the structural acidity you would expect from a red wine-based drink. Black carrot juice gives the deep ruby colour. Like the rest of the NITRO range, the nitrogen widget produces a smooth, non-carbonated pour rather than a fizzy fruit drink. Blackcurrant and blackberry come through on the nose, with clove and orange peel adding warmth. On the palate, the dark berry notes lead, followed by a grip that mimics tannin and a mild earthiness that grounds the sweetness. Bitter orange and raspberry emerge mid-palate before the finish closes dry with blackberry and bitter orange persisting. It is closer to a light red wine experience than most alcohol-free options in this format.
