About This Drink
The still rosé sits alongside the sparkling version in Freixenet's 0,0 range, but without the bubbles. Same production method: base wine fermented conventionally, then alcohol removed through low-temperature vacuum distillation. A still format that suits food better than a fizzy rosé often would. It pours pale salmon pink. The nose is gently fruity: strawberry, ripe raspberry, a light floral note. On the palate it's dry and fresh, with the red berry character carrying through cleanly and crisp acidity giving it structure. The body is light; without carbonation the fruit sits quietly rather than pushing forward. For a dealcoholised still rosé it's well-balanced. The dryness is genuine, which puts it above a lot of the sweeter options in this category.
