Highland Blend takes a lighter, more delicate path than most of the Glen Dochus range. Built on Cairngorm Highland Spring Water and botanical extracts, it aims for the approachable, honey-forward end of the non-alcoholic whisky spectrum rather than anything peated or overtly spiced. The nose is inviting rather than demanding. Tangy citrus peel sits alongside sea-salted caramel, nutmeg and candied dried fruit. On the palate, heather honey and figs lead, with lemon peel and cardamom providing a gentle lift. Nutmeg adds subtle warmth without any real heat. The finish trails off with a fragrant, lingering depth. Of the five Glen Dochus blends, this is the most restrained. It suits those who want something floral and relatively understated rather than the richness of the Export or Royale.
