A collaboration non-alcoholic pastry sour between Browar Nepomucen and Deer Bear, loaded with mango, passion fruit, orange and yuzu.

About This Drink

FREE PAN DA is a joint production between two Polish craft breweries with a shared enthusiasm for fruit-saturated sour ales. The base is a wheat and barley grain bill fermented with lactic acid bacteria, then loaded with mango, passion fruit, orange and yuzu. The pour is hazy and vivid, somewhere between golden and deep orange. Yuzu leads the nose, bright and zesty with a slight floral edge, then mango and passion fruit follow. On the palate, orange juice freshness arrives first, with passion fruit acidity lifting the mid-palate. Lactic sourness is clean and rounded, softened by lactose. Yuzu runs through the whole thing, pulling the fruit together with a citrus bitterness. Carbonation is lower than some pastry sours, and the body is soft and creamy. Complex enough to drink slowly.
