Lowlander Non-Alc Pumpkin Weizen is a limited autumn release, brewed with pumpkin sourced from excess stock as part of the brand's food-waste approach. The spice blend, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger and cardamom, is built into the brew rather than added afterwards. It pours a hazy pale gold with loose, soft carbonation and a faint head. The aroma is gentle: sweet orange leads, with earthy pumpkin and a quiet suggestion of warm baking spice underneath. On the palate the flavour is mellow and rounded. Cinnamon, clove and ginger come through in sequence over a soft wheat malt base, none of them sharp or dominant. The pumpkin contributes body and a slight earthiness rather than any overt squash flavour. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The finish is soft and slightly dry, the spice lingering briefly then fading.
