Third IPA
Alcohol-free West Coast IPA with pine, resin, and proper bitterness. Heaps Normal leaning into the classic style rather than chasing the tropical trend.
About This Drink
The Third IPA takes a position: this is a West Coast-style IPA that goes for pine and resin rather than the softer, fruit-forward direction many AF hop-forward beers take. It pours amber-gold with a clean white head. The aroma is pine needles, resinous hops, grapefruit, and bread crust malt. On the palate, the bitterness arrives early and stays. There's earthy spice, a hint of grapefruit pith, and enough malt sweetness to balance without softening the edge. Nothing here is trying to be approachable in the wrong direction. The finish is dry and lasting, with a resinous hop character that fades slowly. At 17 calories and 1.9g sugar per 100ml, it drinks lean. Low gluten at 14ppm.
