It's part of Giffard's Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Base range, aimed at professional bar use. The aroma is generous: prune and dark fruit up front, then caramel and vanilla sweetness, with a fresh lift that stops it turning heavy. On the palate there's a gentle bitterness that reads as structure rather than edge, developing into a herbaceous finish that echoes the botanical quality of classic red vermouth. It's restrained and grown-up. At 39kcal per 100ml it's on the lighter end of the range.
