Zero Sauvignon Blanc NV
Dealcoholised Australian Sauvignon Blanc, pale straw in colour with crisp tropical and herbaceous character.
About This Drink
Wolf Blass Zero Sauvignon Blanc sits within the Zero range from the South Australian producer, dealcoholised to 0.5% ABV with the aim of preserving varietal character. The nose is recognisably Sauvignon Blanc: cut grass, tropical fruit and lemon, with some apple and white peach underneath. On the palate it's crisp and clean, gooseberry and passionfruit upfront, green melon through the mid-palate, and a dry zesty finish. The body is lighter than you'd get from a standard bottle, which is typical of dealcoholised wine, but the grape variety reads clearly. It works as a straightforward no-alcohol wine for people who want something dry and food-friendly rather than sweet and soft. Serve well chilled.
