About This Drink
Still AF white wine is a harder category to pull off than sparkling. Without bubbles, the absence of alcohol is more noticeable, and many versions taste flat or watery. This one fares better than most. The low-temperature dealcoholisation keeps the aroma reasonably intact: there's white flower, some citrus and yellow fruit coming through, and the palate is clean and fresh rather than stripped-out. It's not complex, and there's no oak character. What it is is a consistent, well-made table wine substitute that doesn't draw attention to itself. Serve lightly chilled alongside food, or as an aperitif when something without bubbles fits the occasion better.
