Divin's Origine Pinot Noir comes from the company's own estate near Chémery in Touraine. Loire Pinot Noir tends toward the lighter, more elegant end of the spectrum, and this version preserves that character rather than trying to be something heavier. The nose opens with redcurrant, strawberry, and cherry alongside a distinctive herbal edge: génépi, mint, and a tomato leaf note that keeps things fresh rather than jammy. Subtle caramel and vanilla sit underneath. On the palate there is medium structure, soft tannins, and an acidity that keeps the fruit moving. The red berry character carries through cleanly to the finish.
