About This Drink
Trabanco has been making cider in Asturias for generations, and Sidra Bajo is their low-alcohol version of the same process - same orchards, same chestnut barrels, same indigenous yeasts. It sits at the gentler end of the sidra style, semi-dry with a lightness that keeps it approachable without losing the apple character. It pours pale golden with fine, persistent carbonation. The aroma is clean: green apple upfront with a faint balsamic wood note from the casks. On the palate the acidity is present but not aggressive, and there's a softness that the zero-alcohol version doesn't quite have. The finish is tart and clean, fading quickly with a dry apple-skin edge.
