Made in Estonia by A. Le Coq, this sits in the more credible end of the alcohol-free cider category. The blend uses apple and pear juices alongside citric, lactic and malic acids, which is what keeps it from reading as glorified apple juice. There's actual tartness here, not just sweetness. It pours clear golden with gentle bubbles. The aroma is fresh apple, uncomplicated and clean. The palate follows: natural sweetness, a light pear undertone, and enough acidity to keep it from cloying. The finish is short and dry. Light-bodied throughout, it drinks easily without demanding much attention from the drinker.
