Collider's Session IPA is brewed as a conventional craft pale ale, with the adaptogen blend - Lion's Mane, Ashwagandha, and L-theanine - micro-dosed in after fermentation. The approach means the beer character isn't compromised by the functional additions. It pours a clear sandy yellow. The aroma leans into stone fruit and floral notes with some malt behind them, and the taste follows in the same direction: citrus, stone fruit, a malty backbone, and a dry finish with notably low bitterness for something marketed as an IPA. It's closer to a pale ale in practice. The 0.5% ABV and 36 calories per 100ml put it at the lighter end of the AF pale ale spectrum. If you're after hop-forward bitterness you might find it underwhelming, but as a crisp, drinkable session pale it holds together well.
