Launching in early 2024, Collider became the first UK beer to combine alcohol-free brewing with adaptogens and functional mushrooms. The signature Unwind Blend brings together ashwagandha, L-theanine, and lion's mane, ingredients borrowed from the wellness world but rarely seen in a pint glass. The idea is to deliver relaxation without the chemical shortcut of alcohol.

The range keeps things focused. The Unwind Lager is clean and crisp, doing what a good lager should. The Session Pale brings more character with stone fruit and floral hop notes. Both clock in under 0.5% ABV, and they've removed the gluten despite using wheat and barley, widening the audience considerably.

Cooke's drinks industry experience shows in the execution. Collider shifted early stock well ahead of projections, and the Session Pale picked up a Best in Class award at the London Beer Awards judged blind against the full field. Listings followed at Dishoom, Hoxton Hotels, and Planet Organic, placing the brand firmly in premium territory.

A seed round in late 2024 came in above target, funding expansion with clear ambitions to become the largest independent alcohol-free beer brand in the UK. Whether that happens remains to be seen, but the early traction is hard to dismiss.
