About This Drink
Made from hand-picked Chenin Blanc grown in South Africa's Western Cape, dealcoholised via vacuum spinning cone and kept below 0.5% ABV. Fairtrade certified, vegan, and gluten free. The nose is lively: green apple, gooseberry, a hint of tropical fruit, and a citrus brightness. The bubbles are fine and hold reasonably well in the glass. On the palate it drinks crisp and dry, with orchard fruit and citrus balanced by clean acidity and a faint earthy undertone that stops it reading as thin or watery. The finish is dry and short. It works as a celebration pour or aperitif in the same way a light prosecco might — the dealcoholisation process has preserved enough character to make it convincing.
