About This Drink
Limbo Lager takes the same foundation as the rest of the Limbo range — the De Proefbrouwerij brewery in Belgium, the mikkellensis yeast — and applies it to lager. No fruit additions, no extra hop character, just the essentials. The mikkellensis yeast does what it always does: contributes a faint passionfruit quality and a light lemony floral note that sits just below the surface. The malt is restrained, providing a soft cereal backdrop without sweetness. Bitterness is gentle and well-balanced, the sort that disappears before it becomes a feature. It's a clean, unfussy alcohol-free lager. Cold from the can is the right way to drink it.
