IPA 00

Alcohol-free IPA from Alsatian brewery Brasserie Meteor, pale and lightly hazy, brewed with Simcoe and Teorem hops for tropical fruit character and 33 IBU of bitterness.

About This Drink

Brasserie Meteor has been brewing in Hochfelden, near Strasbourg, since 1640, making it one of the oldest brewery sites in France. The IPA 00 is their take on an alcohol-free IPA: 0.0% ABV. Two hop varieties do the heavy lifting here. Simcoe brings resinous pine and tropical fruit, while Teorem adds lychee and mango brightness. The hops are cold-macerated to extract aroma without heat, which keeps the 33 IBU feel fresh rather than harsh. The pour is pale and lightly hazy with a foamy white head. On the palate it's fruity and smooth, with the hop character carrying through to a dry, fruity finish with lingering bitterness.
