Cherry
A naturally fermented malt drink from Estonian brewer A. Le Coq, blended with cherry juice and built on the German Fassbrause tradition.
About This Drink
Fassbrause Cherry comes from A. Le Coq, Estonia's oldest brewery, following the German Fassbrause style: a naturally fermented malt base blended with fruit juice, somewhere between a radler and a fruit soda, lighter and less sweet than either. It pours a pale ruby-pink with gentle carbonation. The cherry is present but restrained, closer to stone fruit than sweet syrup, with a light malt background and a faint hop bitterness that keeps it from reading as a straight soft drink. The finish is clean and briefly tart from the citric acid. B vitamins are added to the range. Not something that changes how it tastes, but there for anyone counting.
