About This Drink
Madrí Excepcional 0.0% is brewed at Molson Coors' Burton upon Trent facility. The alcohol is removed post-brewing using dealcoholisation technology, with the aim of preserving the character built up during fermentation. It pours pale straw gold with a short white head. The nose is grain-forward with a gentle hop note in the background and a faint floral quality. On the palate it's light and soft, with mild cereal sweetness and just enough hop presence at the back to keep it from tasting flat. The finish is short and clean. This sits in the mainstream lager bracket rather than anything more ambitious. It's easy-drinking and low-key, which is exactly what most people reaching for a zero-alcohol lager on a Tuesday evening are after.
