About This Drink
Gose is a German wheat beer style seasoned with coriander and salt, brewed to be tart and slightly savoury. Brulo's interpretation loads in five tropical fruits: mango, passionfruit, guava, apricot, and orange peel. The sea salt is still present, but it works quietly underneath the fruit. It pours hazy with a pinkish-orange tint. The nose is vivid, guava and passionfruit coming through immediately with a citrus tang from the orange peel. On the palate, the tartness lands first, that characteristic gose acidity, followed by waves of mango and apricot. The wheat malt base keeps it from feeling hollow. The finish is clean, with a light saline note that rounds off the fruit sweetness without tasting salty. Among the AF fruit gose options out there, this one has good balance between the tart and tropical elements.
