About This Drink
Bald Eagle keeps things simple. Soft water, a light grain bill, and premium hops doing what hops do in a lager: providing structure without drama. It pours pale golden with a fine white head and a nose that's clean without being blank, grassy hops over light cereal malt with a subtle floral note behind it. On the palate it's light-bodied and well-carbonated, and there's a faint white pepper spice mid-sip that gives it more interest than the average AF lager. The finish is crisp and dry with no residual sweetness to speak of. That dryness is one of its better qualities. If you want something cold and uncomplicated, this does the job. Nothing showy, just a decent sessionable lager.
