Wild Blossom takes the Atopia botanical base, distilled orange, juniper, coriander, angelica root and lemon peel, and moves it in a quieter, more floral direction than the other expressions in the range. Orange blossom and lavender are the main additions, alongside apple extract and a small amount of apple-smoked water that introduces a faint woody character without turning smoky. The spirit is crystal clear. The nose is delicate: apple blossom and lavender over a faint citrus backbone, nothing assertive. On the palate, fresh apple comes first before the lavender opens up mid-palate. The smoked apple water registers as a trace of woodsmoke rather than anything you could point to in isolation. The finish is clean and dry, with a light floral bitterness from the wormwood. At 3.1 kcal per 100ml and no detectable sugar, it is the leanest of the Atopia expressions. That makes it a reasonable option if you want something genuinely low-calorie rather than just alcohol-free.
