Elan
De-alcoholised still rosé from La Mancha, blended with peach, elderflower, and ginger, light-bodied with a clean finish.
About This Drink
Elan is a still rosé made from de-alcoholised Airen Blanco and Tempranillo grown on the La Mancha plateau. After de-alcoholisation, the base wine is blended with peach, elderflower, and ginger juice concentrates to restore some of the fruit character and texture that alcohol would otherwise carry. It pours pale salmon with good clarity. The nose is quiet: peach blossom and elderflower, with a background note of ginger. On the palate it is light and clean rather than weighty, with the summer fruit character coming through without much complexity behind it. The finish is short, with no lingering sweetness. It does what a still rosé should do without pretending to be something heavier. The calorie count is low, and the fruit concentrate additions keep it from feeling too thin.
Ingredients
