Free Wave is the softer, juicier counterpart to Run Wild. Where Run Wild takes the West Coast approach, pine-forward and drier in finish, Free Wave leans towards the New England style: hazy, unfiltered, and built around fruit rather than resin. The aroma is the strong suit. Tangerine and grapefruit lead, with mango and tropical stone fruit underneath and a faint piney note in the background. The three-hop combination of Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic each contribute to the layered fruit character. In the glass it's hazy gold with a soft white head and a slightly velvety texture on the palate. Bitterness is present but integrated rather than assertive, which makes it approachable for drinkers who find West Coast IPAs too aggressive. The finish is clean with a light citrus fade. Vegan and certified non-GMO. Best served cold from the can or poured into a wide-mouthed glass.
