Proper Job 0.5%
St Austell's low-alcohol take on their Cornish IPA, built on Cascade, Chinook, and Willamette hops with a citrus-forward character.

Proper Job 0.5% pours clear gold and the nose gets things off to a good start: grapefruit peel, pineapple, and a hint of resinous pine from the Chinook hops. That citrus-tropical character follows through on the palate, anchored by a biscuity malt sweetness from the Maris Otter that keeps the body from feeling thin. The bitterness is present but not aggressive. It sits somewhere between a session pale and a full IPA, which is about right for the ABV. The finish is dry, with lingering citrus peel that fades cleanly rather than dropping away abruptly. Medium-light body with enough carbonation to keep it lively in the glass. It's a decent low-alcohol IPA from a brewery that clearly knows what it's doing with hops. Suits anyone who wants something with a bit of edge rather than the softer, fruitier AF ales that dominate the supermarket shelves.
