The base is a blend of Somerset cider and dessert apples, fermented as a proper cider then brought down in alcohol. That matters because you get a cleaner, more genuine apple character than a lot of low-alcohol ciders that taste like diluted concentrate. It pours pale straw with a gentle fizz. There's biscuity apple on the nose, then crisp red fruit on the palate with a little tannin giving it some backbone. The finish is medium-dry with a soft sweetness at the end. Nothing dramatic, but it holds together well. Vegan and gluten-free. Suits anyone who wants something cider-like without the alcohol rather than fruit-forward.
