Mello Lime & Mint is BrewDog's entry into functional alcohol-free drinks: a 0.0% flavoured lager that puts magnesium citrate, balm extract, and chamomile into the brewing process. Each 330ml can contains 20% of the recommended daily magnesium allowance. The flavour profile is clean and direct: lime peel and spearmint on the nose, cooling and aromatic, with a light grain base that stays firmly in the background. On the palate, the mint comes through as a cooling note rather than a confectionery one, and the lime adds brightness without much tartness.
