Punk AF uses the same hop roster as Punk IPA: Ahtanum, Cascade, Chinook, Citra, Hull Melon, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe on a malt base of Cara, Flaked Oats, Munich, and Wheat. At 0.5% with 20 calories per serving, it is a lean beer. Contains lactose, so not vegan. The aroma is grapefruit and orange peel up front, with lighter melon and stone fruit notes and a grassy, resinous quality from the hop bill. The nose is less aggressive than the full-strength version but coherent rather than empty. On the palate, the body is soft and light, with smooth carbonation. Citrus and cereal grain come through together, and the bitterness is mild, finishing clean and dry with grapefruit lingering. It is a reasonable stand-in for the original without asking too much of you for the comparison.
