Ginger does most of the work here. It's warm and peppery, the sort of heat that builds rather than hits all at once. Lemon comes in underneath it with real sharpness, which balances the spice without softening it. There's turmeric in there too, adding a faint earthiness that's barely noticeable but present. The kombucha fermentation base adds tartness and a faint fermented-tea quality. Combined with the ginger and citrus, the result sits somewhere between a ginger beer and a sharp, herbal soda. The carbonation is lively and the finish is peppery and dry. It goes through Remedy's standard 30-day SCOBY fermentation, which converts all the starting sugar. No residual sweetness.
