Sonoma AF uses Citra and Mosaic, the same hop combination as Track's full-strength Sonoma Pale Ale. At 0.5% ABV, the hop character is still the point. It pours hazy pale gold. The aroma opens on fresh citrus peel and tropical fruit, with mango and grapefruit the most obvious notes and a stone fruit undercurrent from the Mosaic. The body is light but there's a slight oat softness that keeps it from feeling thin. Carbonation is moderate. On the palate the citrus carries through with a rounded, mild bitterness. The finish is short and clean, with a trace of grapefruit pith. It sits comfortably in the session pale category. No surprises, no rough edges, nothing that gets in the way.
