Hardys' Zero Tech X process removes alcohol at cooler temperatures than most dealcoholisation methods, which helps preserve what you'd expect from a Chardonnay: body, aroma, and something resembling structure. This one sits on the riper end of the spectrum. Pineapple and peach are the dominant notes, with some pear and green apple underneath keeping it from going flat. There's a faint oak quality that gives it a bit of weight, and the mouthfeel is smooth rather than watery. For an alcohol-free white, the texture is one of its stronger points. The fruit is forward and generous, so if you prefer your whites dry and lean this probably isn't it, but it works well alongside food or on its own.
