Amstel Rosé 0.0% arrived in 2025 as part of the broader trend of pink, pastel-tinted drinks aimed at drinkers who find standard AF lager a bit dull. The base is the same alcohol-free lager as the core Amstel product, with a small addition of red fruit juice concentrate doing the work on colour and flavour. In the glass it's a translucent rosé pink with moderate bubbles. The aroma is soft: a light berry note with some malt sweetness underneath and a faint citrus edge from added citric acid. On the palate the fruit is present but restrained. Raspberry and cherry come through as a gentle accent rather than a dominant hit, sitting over a thin, grainy malt background. At 4.5g sugar per 100ml the sweetness is measured. It's a mild, easy-drinking option. The fruit character won't wow anyone who's after a proper berry bomb, but for casual drinking it's a reasonable choice in the category.
