About This Drink
Pineapple & Mango blends organic pineapple and mango into the standard Equinox kombucha base. Carrot concentrate deepens the colour to a warm orange-gold; it does not register as carrot on the palate. This is the most conventionally fruit-forward option in the range. The aroma is immediately tropical: ripe mango and pineapple up front, with the faint green tea character of the kombucha sitting behind. On the palate the fruit is pronounced but not syrupy. The acidity of the fermentation balances the natural sweetness and keeps things light. At 17 calories per 100ml it is low for a fruit-flavoured drink. A reasonable choice for anyone who finds the more austere kombucha flavours unwelcoming. The fruit does most of the talking.
