The White Grape is a sparkling juice rather than a dealcoholised wine. There's no alcohol removal process here: it's made from selected Italian white grapes and left as juice, with no artificial flavourings, additives or colouring added. The golden colour and fruit character come straight from the grapes. The nose is quite expressive for a grape juice: stone fruit, fresh grape and a hint of mint with some floral lift. On the palate, white grape and peach are the dominant notes, with green apple freshness stopping it from being cloying. The fizz is lively and the finish is soft, fading cleanly without any hard edge. It's openly a sweet, fruity drink rather than a convincing wine substitute. No pretence about it.
