About This Drink
Tempranillo from La Mancha is the grape behind this still red. Vinada ferment it fully then remove the alcohol through vacuum extraction at low temperature, which preserves the variety's characteristic dark fruit alongside a faint earthy quality. In the glass it is a deep ruby. The nose is warm and approachable: red cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrant, with that slightly leathery, earthy background note you get from Tempranillo. On the palate it is smooth and soft-bodied, with gentle tannins and a quiet acidity. The structure is there, enough to feel like a proper red rather than a grape juice, but nothing demanding. The finish is short and rounded. It is one of the more convincing alcohol-free reds available. The tannin presence and the earthy character of the grape do a lot of the heavy lifting.
