The alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation or reverse osmosis, which keeps more of the wheat beer character intact than simply brewing to a low ABV. That shows in the glass: hazy golden, persistent white head, and an aroma that genuinely smells like a Weissbier rather than a pale imitation. Banana and clove lead, as they should in any Hefeweizen worth drinking. There is bread and mild citrus peel underneath, and a slight natural sourness that stops the sweetness becoming cloying. The body is notably fuller than most AF beers, with a creamy carbonation that suits the style. One of the more convincing AF wheat beers around. If you like the Hefeweizen style, this delivers the essential character. Serve it in a tall weizen glass, well chilled.
